Rashami Desai, born on 13 February 1986 as Shivani Desai, is a popular Indian actress primarily known for her work in Hindi television. She has won several awards, including two Indian Television Academy Awards and Gold Awards, and is recognized as one of the most popular and highest-paid TV actresses.

Rashami began her acting career in regional films before debuting in Hindi television with Raavan (2006). She gained immense fame for her role as Tapasya Thakur in the long-running Colors TV show Uttaran (2009-2014), which earned her widespread acclaim and several awards. She has also participated in reality shows like Zara Nachke Dikha 2, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, and Nach Baliye 7.
