Sonu Sood
Sonu Sood (born 30 July 1973) is an Indian actor, producer, model, and philanthropist known for his work in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films. He gained recognition for his roles as a villain in films like Dabangg (2010) and Arundhati (2009), winning several awards for his performances.
Besides acting, Sonu is praised for his humanitarian efforts, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, for which he received the SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award from the UNDP in 2020. He has also appeared in several commercials and launched his social media app Explurger in 2022.
Sood’s notable films include Yuva (2004), Jodhaa Akbar (2008), Dookudu (2011), Simmba (2018), and Kurukshetra (2019). He also hosted MTV Roadies in 2022.
