Tandon began her career with modeling assignments and earned recognition as the “Femina Cover Girl First Runner-Up” in 2006. In 2008, she starred in the international Afghan serial Khushi, where she portrayed the lead role of an Afghan woman doctor. Tandon went on to co-host Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout with Shah Rukh Khan in 2011, based on the popular Wipeout format. She also hosted Dance India Dance for three seasons, earning a Best Anchor award, and co-hosted the Bournvita Quiz Contest with Derek O’Brien for three seasons. Additionally, she appeared as Roop, the sister of Kareena Kapoor’s character, in Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met.

Tandon hosted LG Mallika-e-Kitchen for three seasons and, in 2015, joined the cast of the hit comedy Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! as Anita, also known affectionately as “Gori Mem.” In 2018, she took on hosting duties for Entertainment Ki Raat Season 2 on Colors TV.
